Gonzalez, 45-0, 38 KO\u2019s is looking to capture his fourth world title by taking on one of his toughest opponents of his career when he steps into the ring with Cuadras.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChocolatito\u201d Gonzalez is the current WBC, Lineal and The Ring Magazine flyweight champion, as well as a former WBA light flyweight and WBA minimumweight champion. Gonzalez joined his idol and legendary Nicaraguan Alexis Arguello in winning world titles in three different weight classes when he dethroned Akira Yaegashi (TKO 9) in September of 2014 for the WBC Flyweight title. Since then, \u201cChocolatito\u201d has made four successful title defenses of the crown by defeating Rocky Fuentes (TKO 6), Edgar Sosa (KO 2), Brian Viloria (TKO 9) and McWilliams Arroyo (UD12).\u201cThis fight is for all my people in Nicaragua and especially dedicated to my mentor, the great Alexis Arguello.\u201d<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThanks to my friend Carlos Cuadras who has given me this opportunity to fight for a fourth world title,\u201d said Gonzalez. \u201cThis coming Saturday is a very hard, very difficult fight. I know God is watching over me and will give me the strength to come out victorious.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Champion Carlos Cuadras, 35-0-1, 27 KO\u2019s is ready to crack the pound-for-pound list as one of the sport\u2019s best fighters as well. Cuadras won the WBC Super Flyweight title back in May of 2014 against Wisaksil Wangek by technical decision. Since then, the champion has made six successful title defenses. Despite scoring a draw in his first title defense against Salgado (another technical decision), Cuadras has secured victories over Marvin Mabait, Luis Concepcion, Dixon Flores, Koko Eto and Richie Mepranum. The Mexican is looking forward to the challenge this coming weekend, and feels very confident that he will score the biggest victory of his career. \u201cI want to thank everyone who helped get me ready for this fight,\u201d said Cuadras. \u201cEveryone has done their job and now it\u2019s time to do mine.
