\"c60dfeef-5ce2-4219-87ee-a5378a9ee61f\"<\/a>Super Bantamweight Brent Venegas made it 2 for 2 with a four-round unanimous decision over Yezber Romero on Saturday night at the Tachi Palace Hotel in Casino in Leemore, California.<\/p>\n

The 2016 United States Olympic Alternate boxed a near flawless fight en-route to the decision.<\/p>\n

“I had a tough opponent, but I outclassed and used my jab and capitalized on his mistakes,”said Venegas.<\/p>\n

After winning his pro debut on July 22nd, Venegas was more settled for his 2nd ring appearance.<\/p>\n

“I was more relaxed and was more used to the eight-ounce gloves. I just wanted to be smart. Even though I was better than him, I was very serious and I came out with the victory.”<\/p>\n

Venegas and his team hope to be back in the ring very shortly.<\/p>\n

“I am going to see my coach on Tuesday and discuss what is next. I am ready to fight as soon as possible.”<\/p>\n

Said GH3 Promotions CEO Vito Mielnicki, ” Brent had a nice performance and we have a lot of dates coming up and Brent will be very busy.”<\/p>\n
