Zivic had twice defeated SRR\u00b4s idol, Henry Armstrong (in fact, the second Armstrong-Zivic fight happened exactly 1 year before Muhammad Ali was born) and Robinson beat Zivic (by then the former World Welterweight Champion) by a 10-round Unanimous Decision, at Madison Square Garden, New York, New York, USA.
