Proving to all those in attendance, and to the other top ranked fighters in his division, exactly what he’s capable of!

He has been waiting since his fight with Lynes back in November 2017 – where he also won the WBC International Silver title – to get back in the ring and he’s finally got that opportunity after signing with the promotional company MTK.

McKinson, who trains under the tutelage of his father at Bally’s Gym in Portsmouth, is already ranked #8 on BoxRec in the British Welterweight division and sits above the popular Connor Benn – who is one fighter that avoided McKinson’s challenge last year…

“The Problem” will be having a tick over fight against the strong Nigerian fighter, Innocent Anyanwu, before moving on to bigger and better things in the British Welterweight division.

The fight takes place this Saturday 14th July at The Civic Hall in Essex. Where he will look to improve upon his already perfect record, which sits at 13 fights and 13 wins.

Hopefully, having singed with MTK, this talented and hardworking southpaw will get the opportunities that he deserves and will go on to have even more success within the sport, maybe even ending up capturing the full WBC World title in the years to come.

To follow McKinson on his journey through the pro ranks, you can find him on Instagram

[si-contact-form form=’2′]

[AdSense-A] By Tyler “The Miracle Man” White Hailing from the city of Portsmouth, “The Problem” AKA Michael McKinson, returns to the ring this weekend after a long and frustrating wait for an opponent.
