(Please, don\u2019t be offended. Those are his good points)<\/p>\n
Yesterday I listened to him say, over and over, when he was asked about his and the government\u2019s response to the Coronavirus, \u201cOh, we\u2019re doing a great job!\u201d Really, you lying so and so? Really? I wonder how the hundreds of thousands who have contracted the disease feel about that and how the families of the now more than 190,000 souls who have died from it and his TOTAL, ABSOLUTE and COMPLETE lack of leadership in stopping this horror feel about it?<\/p>\n
I commend to you the following, which appeared today on several different news outlets, most notably HuffPost and I sincerely hope that you will read it carefully:<\/p>\n
Have you ever served in the military? If so, PLEASE pay close attention ! These are not the words of some right-wing extremist conspiracy around every corner group. This is not from some even more obscure web page. This is straight from a real, no-nonsense, knowledgeable veteran, respected in every way possible. These are not my words. If you still support the current occupant of the White House, you really ought to think about that and more important, WHY. Shame on you if you still do, for as Sully states, “He is not fit for that office.”

Chesley \u201cSully\u201d Sullenberger, America\u2019s favorite airline pilot, is \u201cdisgusted\u201d by the \u201ccurrent occupant of the White House,\u201d he tweeted Friday in an uncharacteristic attack on President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n The easygoing pilot, who safely landed a crippled commercial airliner in the Hudson River 11 years ago to save every one of his 155 passengers, erupted over a report Thursday in The Atlantic about Trump\u2019s shocking insults labeling fallen service members as \u201closers\u201d and \u201csuckers.\u201d<\/p>\n As part of his nine-tweet attack, Sullenberger began by honoring his father, who, like him, was a war veteran. \u201cHis generation saved the world from fascism,\u201d he wrote. Sullenberger, an Air Force veteran, volunteered for military service during the Vietnam War.<\/p>\n \u201cI have long known that serving a cause greater than oneself is the highest calling, whether in the military or in civilian life,\u201d he added in a following tweet. \u201cAnd I have always tried to be a voice of reason and to speak in a measured way.\u201d<\/p>\n But \u201cthis situation calls for a much more direct approach. It is time to call out egregious behavior for what it is,\u201d he flatly stated.<\/p>\n \u201cFor the first time in American history, a president has repeatedly shown utter and vulgar contempt and disrespect for those who have served and died serving our country,\u201d Sullenberger noted.<\/p>\n \u201cWhile I am not surprised, I am disgusted by the current occupant of the Oval Office. He has repeatedly and consistently shown himself to be completely unfit for and to have no respect for the office he holds,\u201d Sullenberger added.<\/p>\n \u201cHe cannot understand selflessness because he is selfish. He cannot conceive of courage because he is a coward.\u201d<\/p>\n He concluded: \u201cWe owe it not only to those who have served and sacrificed for our nation, but to ourselves and to succeeding generations to vote him out.\u201d<\/p>\n Sullenberger is a registered Republican who was approached by the GOP in 2009 about running for Congress. He endorsed Democratic nominee Joe Biden for president earlier this year.<\/p>\n From H. S.
