Adolf Hitler: NAZI TALKING DOGS – INSIDE STORY

By Geno McGahee

There is a book that is currently out by Cardiff University historian, Jan Bondeson: AMAZING DOGS: A CABINET OF CANINE CURIOSITIES. It reveals the Nazi’s failed attempt to breed an army of genius dogs that could read, write, and talk.

“In the 1920s, Germany had numerous ‘new animal psychologists’ who believed dogs were nearly as intelligent as humans, and capable of abstract thinking and communication,” he writes. “When the Nazi party took over, one might have thought they would be building concentration camps to lock these fanatics up, but instead they were actually very interested in their ideas.”

There was rumored success. Dogs were communicating via paw signals, although some question the claims. The plan was to have dogs work alongside Nazi troops. The thought was that dogs were just as smart as humans and could do the things that humans do if engineered correctly.

Adolf Hitler wanted to do it doggy style, but the experiment failed in the end.
