CM Punk Breaking News: Back with TNA

By Sean Farrell

So I have seen almost everything in pro wrestling…I know that gimmicks, moves, and occasionally catch phrases are sometimes stolen/copied/re-created, but never in my life have I seen a company use another company’s hot commodity without slandering him to their benefit…That is until now.

TNA/Impact Wrestling has taken the CM Punk attention and has used it to their advantage. TNA OnDemand is advertising that CM Punk is coming. Here is the description…

Nearly three hours of matches, never before have these bouts from Punk’s early career been rebroadcast in their entirety – UNTIL NOW! Watch as CM Punk battles Abyss, Raven, Terry Funk, Sabu, Shane Douglas and many more! Check back to IMPACTWRESTLING.com on Thursday to watch it, plus details on more upcoming “TNA Archives” Superstar Series specials.

I can’t for the life of me find the significance in this other than some hardcore fans making the buys to see Punk back in TNA, or to simply try and show Punk they are on great terms. WWE shouldn’t have a complaint about this either, why should they? Their TOP draw and the sport’s TOP draw at the moment being pushed by anybody in anyway is good for the WWE…The WWE needs all the public pushing they can get, as the REALITY era draws near(I’ve been saying that was the next era after the PG era WELL before Punk did) That includes me too Punk. Nothing wrong with stirring the pot a little, pro wrestlers do it ALL THE TIME.
