TNA Hardcore Justice: RESULTS – Sting Vs Kurt Angle

By Geno McGahee

Sting and Kurt Angle met for the TNA Heavyweight Title, held by “the insane icon” Sting. The two had a back and forth match with both men applying the other’s move on each other. Sting was able to get Angle in the scorpion death lock, but Angle managed to escape. Angle landed the Angle Slam, but Sting, amazingly, kicked out. Then things got weird. Hulk Hogan stormed down to the ring with chair in hand and attempted to hit Sting with it. Angle got his hands on the chair and, to the shock of the fans, bashed Sting with it and got the pin fall and title.

The tag team champions “Beer Money” had a rough go with Mexican America, when they landed the super kick to close the show. Beer Money have held onto those titles for quite some time.

Bully Ray upset Anderson thanks in large part to a low blow. Anderson has gone from world title to a losing streak. Bully Ray celebrated backstage but IMMORTAL was not happy with Abyss and the celebration was cut short.

The group known as FORTUNE defeated IMMORTAL in a six man tag, with IMMORTAL pointing their fingers at Abyss as the reason. He has become the punching bag of the group for some time.

Crimson remained undefeated with a victory over RVD in the bound for glory series by disqualification.

The charismatic Winter defeated Mickie James to capture the women’s title.

Pope reluctantly defeated Devon with a roll up pin. He was willing to lose to Devon, but Devon wanted to win fair and square and refused to take the easy pin. In the end, there was inner turmoil because of Pope’s relationship with Devon’s family.

Tara and Ms. Tessmacher defeated Sarita and Rosita to remain the tag team champions. Tara hit the Widow’s Peak to get the win for her team.
