Chael Sonnen: TRASH TALK GOES TOO FAR

Well, it didn’t take any time at all for everyone’s favorite loud mouth Chael Sonnen to start bashing the best fighter in the world Anderson Silva. Sonnen, who helped train Yushin Okami for his fight with Silva on Saturday night in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at UFC 134: Silva vs. Okami, was very vocal in regards to believing Okami would defeat Silva.

“We call Andy ‘champ’ like we call developmentally disabled animals ‘champ.’ Good boy, Andy, good boy!” Sonnen wrote on his Twitter account.

“The Spider” had no trouble defeating Okami and avenging a DQ loss to him from 2006. That was the last defeat Silva has suffered, as he went on to enter the UFC later that year and capture the title from Rich Franklin. Silva now owns a 15-fight win streak, including a submission victory over the loud mouth Sonnen himself last year all while Sonnen was cheating on PEDs.

Sonnen, who is set to meet Brian Stann in October at UFC 136, has been out of action since the Silva loss due to the failed drug test and his involvement in a money laundering scheme. After that last sentence, why are people fans of this guy?

The Sonnen-Stann winner should be receiving the next shot at Silva and the middleweight title, but there have also been rumors of a Silva-Jones fight being looked at as well, seeing how other than Stann, Silva would only be fighting in rematches as he CLEARED out the division literally.

I am hoping Stann KOs Sonnen horrifically and requires his jaw to be immobilized so he can’t speak, but then I have to hope he breaks his hands as well, so he won’t be able to Tweet either.
