Al PACINO STUNS FANS at VENICE Film FESTIVAL: RETIRING from MAKING MOVIES?

Oscar winner and living legend, actor Al Pacino is in Venice today where his latest directorial effort SALOME will be shown at the Venice Film Festival. Pacino was quoted as saying, “my future is blank.” When asked about SALOME he said, “I didn’t know where I was going, I’m confused”. SALOME is a documentary and feature film based on Oscar Wilde’s play.

Pacino, has delighted audiences for more than 40 years on the screen and several more on the stage. For him to retire, if he decides to, will leave a gap in the movie making industry that will never be filled again by such a great and humble actor. I, for one, hope that he finds the canvas as he has done so many times in years past to bring countless of millions of his fans and movie viewers many more Oscar worthy performances.
