WBO super featherweight champion Ricky Burns (32-2, 9 KOs) is being advised to bypass a $325,000 offer to defend against KO artist and mandatory challenger Adrien Broner (21-0, 17 KOs) on November 26 at the US Bank Arena in Broner’s hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. Since Burns has weight issues, his manager Alex Morrison wants Burns to relinquish the WBO belt and campaign at lightweight.
