Yuriorkis Gamboa – Ponce De Leon: BOXING RESULTS – Manny Pacquiao Next

Yuriorkis Gamboa, 21-0, 16 KO’s, dominated Ponce De Leon, 41-4, 34 KO’s, over the course of 8 rounds before an accidental head butt caused a terrible cut on De Leon, forcing the doctor to call the fight.

Gamboa fought the fight tactically and took no chances, doing enough to win every round. De Leon had a hard time generating any sustained aggression and spent a lot of his time on the defense.

When asked what he wanted next, Gamboa said: “I want Manny Pacquiao!”
