Unbeaten heavyweight Tyson Fury (11-0, 9 KOs) scored a ninth round TKO over John McDermott (25-7, 16 KOs) on Friday night at the Brentwood Centre in Brentwood, England. McDermott was down three times before the bout was halted. Time was 1:08. Fury had previously won a controversial decision over McDermott last September, but no questions this time. Fury claimed the vacant English belt.
