Danny Green – BJ Flores Boxing Results

Danny Green, 31-3, 27 KO’s, successfully defended his IBO Cruiserweight Title with a twelve round decision over the game challenger BJ Flores, 24-1, 15 KO’s, by the scores of 117-111, 118-110, and 118-111. Flores used his boxing skills and mobility to confuse the champion at times, but Green maintained his poise and stayed in control of the fight with his overall power advantage being the difference.
Flores stated that he thought he did well, but didn’t do enough to win the fight, and despite the defeat, this was a good learning experience for Flores, who up to this point, had not faced a lot of top opposition. Green continues to make his mark as one of the growing stars in boxing.
