Victor Ortiz – Lamont Peterson Shocking Results

Victor Ortiz, 28-2-2, 22 KO’s, seemed to do enough to clearly defeat Lamont Peterson, 28-1-1, 14 KO’s, knocking him down twice in the third round and proceeding to put on the aggression throughout. Peterson fought gamely and with great courage, but he didn’t have the power in his shots to keep off the strong Ortiz.
In the end, Ortiz came on and won the tenth round to leave no doubt, but the judges saw it another way. The judges would score it a majority draw.
