Katie Holmes Gets Revenge On The History Channel and Showtime Network

By “Bad” Brad Berkwitt

After being passed on by The History Channel and Showtime last month, “The Kennedys” has finally found a home for viewers to watch the controversial miniseries. ReelzChannel, a rep for the network confirmed to Access Hollywood.

The eight-part series will get its world premiere on April 3 on the network.

Reports had surfaced that the Kennedy family helped kill the series from airing on The History Channel, something Robert F. Kennedy, JR. said he was not aware of when he spoke to Access at Sundance, but ReelzChannel Chief Executive Officer Stan E. Hubbard said they felt it was an important story to show.

With major networks turning down the series, it showed just how powerful the Kennedy Family still remains in the US today. When a Kennedy is in a story, it is sure to sell no matter if in a book or on TV.
