Ultimate Warrior: DEAD – Another Wrestling Tragedy
I could not believe it when I saw the news, reported by the New York Post, brother. They wrote: “Savage’s passing follows the deaths of several other prominent wrestlers from the 1980s, including Yokozuna, Ultimate Warrior, Bam Bam Bigelow and Savage’s one-time female partner and wife, Miss Elizabeth.”
I called my brothers in WWE and TNA to see what the story was because the Warrior wasn’t answering his phone man, and I finally got things clarified. The Ultimate Warrior is still alive man. He took on the Macho Man Randy Savage at Wrestlemania and beat him, and you may also remember when he took on Hulk Hogan and beat him for the WWE Title man, but you know how I remember him? It was a long time ago brother, but I was at the gym with Sting and Warrior and they were just getting into the game man. They were trying to be like the Road Warriors and became the Blade Runners, a short lived tag team that I worked with on a couple of occasions. The Warrior had one of the hardest clotheslines I’ve ever felt brother.
He came into WCCW as the Dingo Warrior and was quickly picked up by the WWE where he made his run, man, and should be remembered for that. I know that he came to WCW at one time in the 1990s but brother, the magic was gone man.
I guess the New York Post bought into the hype brother. You know Kerry Von Erich stood in for the Warrior a few times and he died and the rumor began that the real Warrior passed away and they brought another one in. And you know that Warrior clone, Renegade, also died man, so there is room for confusion brother and you can take that to the bank and cash it.
So the good news is that the Warrior lives…a typo by those writers at the New York Post. I was ready to GET NASTY and put them through a table for the mix up brother. I wanted a day out with my lady and I heard my brother, the Warrior, passed on, I canceled man, and it was for nothing.
I want to take a moment to thank all of the readers that have been filling my in box man. EVERYONE wants to know who I’m bringing to Ringside Report. I saw so many wrestling sites with their predictions and some of you may be onto something brother, but you’ll have to wait until he debuts to know for sure. When he arrives, the wrestling world will be in for a shocker!
