RSR Boxing Results: Yudell Jhonson Remains Undefeated on ESPN2’s Friday Night Fights

Cuban junior middleweight, Yudell Jhonson, 7-0, 5 KO’s, had little trouble with his opponent Juliano Ramos, 16-4, 13 KO’s, battering him until the referee called a halt to it in the eighth round. In the opening round, Jhonson landed a straight left hand that rattled Ramos and it became a matter of time after that. Ramos had no answer for the skills of Jhonson and the punches began to take more of a toll on him as the rounds went by, culminating in the stoppage where two big left hands sent him reeling. It was a good performance by Jhonson.
Welterweight Brad Solomon, 12-0, 4 KO’s, dominated the knockout puncher, Kenny Galarza, 13-1, 13 KO’s, using his speed, defense, and ring generalship to clean sweep every round en route to a ten round unanimous decision by scores of 100-89 (twice) and 99-90.
