Guillermo Rigondeaux Has Boxing World BUZZING – Breaking News

One of the world’s top pound-for-pound boxing stars Guillermo “El Chacal” Rigondeaux will fight in Britain for the first time on March 12 at the Liverpool Echo Arena when he faces local hero Jazza Dickens on the undercard of Terry Flanagan’s WBO lightweight title defense against Derry Mathews. Undefeated Rigondeaux, who fights out of Miami, Florida, is regarded as the world’s best super bantamweight. Many say he has been ducked by British 122lb stars Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg, and now he is coming into their backyard.

Jazza Dickens: “He might not have the belts, but he’s still the world champion in my eyes, Frampton and Quigg both didn’t want to know him, but what they see as a threat, I see as an opportunity. We’ve all got weaknesses and Rigondeaux will have his, it’s my job to go out and exploit them and beat him.”
