Evander Holyfield Stops Brian Nielsen: Is there a Klitschko Awaiting?

Evander Holyfield, 44-10-2, 29 KO’s, stopped Brian Nielsen 64-3, 43 KO’s, in the eleventh round, dominating the majority of the action, including a knockdown in round three. Nielsen was coming off of a nine year retirement to face Holyfield and considering the fact that he never hit that hard to begin with and would have a great deal of ring rust, he was the ideal opponent for the “Real Deal.”

In his last fight, Holyfield was exposed as the shot fighter that he is, as Sherman Williams was deprived of the rightful victory when Evander quit and used his name to save his record. So, if he cannot beat a guy like Williams, where does he go? Nielsen was perfect. He was old, slow, never that good, retired for 9 years, and stationary. How can you beat that?

Holyfield is now calling out the Klitschkos. If he has another call left, it should be to the ER to reserve a room for him if either Wlad or Vitali agree to fight him. Now onto the real fight…. Pacquiao-Mosley…
