Casey Anthony: PROVEN A LIAR – BREAKING NEWS
The trial of “Tot Mom” Casey Anthony continues and her future does not look promising. Her mother, Cindy Anthony recently took the stand and as they played her initial phone call to 911, she wept, hearing her own frantic voice telling the dispatcher that Caylee was missing. She handed the phone to daughter, Casey, and she was very cold, speaking of a nanny that kidnapped her daughter and “different routes” she tried to get her back. It was the beginning of a series of lies.
As the hunt for Caylee began, father George Anthony and his wife Cindy, worked very hard, pushing the community to help in the search. The help became harassment as the community began suspecting, as most did, that there was something going on. Casey was involved in the disappearance and most feared the worse, which turned out to be true, as the remains of young Caylee were discovered.
Her brother Lee took the stand today and testified that there was an offensive smell in his sister’s car and that she told him the nanny story. She has accused both him and her father George of molestation, a page out of the Menendez brothers’ playbook. Considering her long track record of dishonesty, not too many people put a lot of stock in this.
The facts are weighing heavily against the “Tot Mom” at this point, and her demeanor is not helping either. The cold stare and lack of emotion is certainly having an effect on the jury and the people watching at home. She seems oblivious to what is going on around her…almost disinterested. The bounty hunter that paid for her bail on one occasion, Leonard Padilla, stated that “she (Casey) was insane and was probably born that way.” Her behavior really disturbed Padilla.
Today, Casey was forced to listen to some of her lies via taped conversations, but again, she sat stone-faced through them.
“I got off of work, left Universal, driving back to pick up Caylee like a normal day. I show up to the apartment, knock on the door and no one answers. So I call Zenaida’ s cell phone and it’s out of service…so I sit down on the steps and wait for a little bit to see if maybe it’s just a fluke, maybe something happenened,” noted Anthony in the taped conversation.
“After about 7 o’clock …I was getting pretty upset, pretty frantic…I didn’t really want to come home, I wasn’t sure what I would say about not knowing where Caylee was,” she also said.
Casey Anthony could get the death penalty if convicted. Stay tuned to RSR for further developments.
