Casey Anthony: Dog Handler PROVES CAYLEE IN TRUNK
The prosecution called Deputy Kristen Brewer to the witness stand today in the Casey Anthony trial. Her K-9 partner, Bones, had searched for evidence of Caylee around the Anthony home in July of 2008.
This week, the Prosecutors have been presenting forensics evidence and testimony from experts in different branches of the field along with K-9 handlers that say that their dogs detected decomposition in the car of Casey Anthony.
Yesterday, there was a slight victory for the defense when the trash inside of the car was tampered with by the police, but with the K-9 accounts of detection of decomposition, the prosecution has once again proven to be presenting a very strong case and the defense will have a hard time overcoming the forensics. It cannot all be dismissed as “junk science.”
Every expert that has taken the stand has supported the contention that Caylee’s body was in the trunk of Casey’s car, and the smell was in fact, the decomposing body of the young child. The defense contends it was the smell of garbage and that mishandling of the evidence is the reason why the dead body claim cannot be dismissed. As the forensics witnesses take the stand, the contention that it was trash becomes less and less likely. It is more likely than not at this point that the prosecution’s claim that Casey killed Caylee, put her body in the trunk, and dumped her in the woods is correct.
