Michelle Obama: ICARLY APPEARANCE – The Agenda
The annoying Nickelodeon show “ICARLY” will step it up a notch when they have a special guest appear. I’m not a fan of special guests, especially if they are celebrities or semi-celebrities. The TV show “THE SIMPSONS” began bringing in different celebrities, playing themselves in cartoon form and it was horrible.
Now we have this young teen show “iCarly,” about a girl named “Carly” that has her own Internet show with her friend “Sam.” Now this show is terrible. The canned laughter that they pipe in after every sentence is incredibly irritating, but thankfully, they tell the audience when to laugh. Like TBS’s slogan “very funny,” you need to be told what is funny, and here it’s a good idea. The show is lame, but get ready because the first lady is making an appearance.
First, Michelle Obama declared war on the fatties, while chomping down on some ribs. Every First Lady needs a cause, and her cause was obesity in America. War on the fat. Everything is a war on something and the war will include a “sugar tax” to detour people from getting fatter and line the pockets of the government.
The purpose of this appearance is to plant the seed in the minds of the children that watch: Join the military. The father on the show is in the military, which forces Carly to live with her older brother, Spencer. So, the story line is there, and Michelle Obama is using this show as a platform to encourage military involvement with the impressionable pre-teens that are 4 or so years away from eligibility.
ICarly is a terrible show, but it’s incredibly popular and Michelle will have a huge audience to get her point across. The canned laughter will be there to back her up.
