Stone Cold Steve Austin, Vince McMahon, John Cena, and Trish Stratus get Surprisingly RAW
This week’s edition of RAW took place in Richmond, Virginia. The event kicked off with the winner of WWE Tough Enough announced as Stone cold stated that Andy was the winner.
Mr. McMahon voiced his displeasure with the result and felt Luke should have won.
What followed was a Stone Cold Stunner for Mr. McMahon. After the announcement R Truth came out to issue his apology, but he blamed the WWE for holding him back. Just then, Alex Riley came out to air his grievances about the Miz.
Afterward John Cena came out and Mr. McMahon announced the matchup as R Truth and the Miz facing John Cena and Alex Riley.
The following match was Santino Marella facing Mike McGillicuddy in a singles bout. Marella would get the victory with the cobra. The next match was Kelly Kelly and Beth Phoenix facing Brie Bella and Nikki.
Beth Phoenix would get the win with the glam slam.
Booker T spoke to Trish Stratus but Jack Swagger ended up interrupting them and challenged Booker T to a match. The former WCW Heavyweight Champion would accept the challenge.
The following match was a rematch of last week when CM Punk was victorious over Rey Mysterio Jr. The masked man would get the victory this week as this rivalry is an exhibition of the competitive spirit of wrestling reminiscent of the Booker T – Chris Benoit best of 7.
Next was Alberto Del Rio mocking the Big Show.
US champion Koffi Kingston defeated Zack Ryder in the next match up. After that was the much awaited Booker T vs. Jack Swagger showdown. Swagger would walk out of the ring and would be blindsided by Evan Bourne and would bring Swagger back in the ring and hit the airbourne.
Booker T would do the spinnerooni and hit Swagger with it.
Next was the main event as John Cena and Alex Riley facing R Truth and the Miz with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the special guest referee. Austin would make his presence known throughout the match as he would hit Miz with a stunner and Cena would get the attitude adjustment for the win. But the anonymous GM overturned the decision and Austin was livid. The GM tried to appease Austin by making him the guest RAW GM next week and in typical Austin behavior would hit Michael Cole with the Stone Cold Stunner.
