Casey Anthony: CAYLEE HAIR MATCH & HEART SHAPED STICKER SEAL DEFENSE’S FATE
The Casey Anthony trial continued today with testimony about the heart shaped stickers and hair evidence. Crime scene investigator Alina Burroughs testified that heart shaped stickers was found in Casey Anthony’s bedroom, which is very strong evidence against the accused killer.
Caylee Anthony, the 2 year old that was murdered, had duct tape and a heart shaped sticker over her mouth, a link to the defendant that is impossible to ignore. Catherine Theisen, a forensic mitochondrial DNA analyst for the FBI and the quality assurance supervisor for the FBI laboratory testified about hair samples today, stating that the hair in the trunk and hair from the skull of Caylee was a match.
Casey Anthony could face the death penalty if accused and the Prosecution has put forth a very strong case. It looks like a lock at this point. It will be up to the defense to convince the jury that Caylee actually drowned and that George Anthony, Casey’s father, attempted to cover it up.
