Jesus Pabon – Javier Castro Meet on June 24th
Promoter Tuto Zabala, Jr., All Star Boxing, Inc, Pugilistic Promotions and Deportes Telemundo announced today in a Press Conference the blockbuster show schedule for this Friday, June 24, 2011 at the Miami Dade County Auditorium which is celebrating its 60th Anniversary. In the main event WBO latin junior welterweight champion Jesus Pabon (17-1-11 KOs) of Carolina, Puerto Rico will defend his title against former WBA International champion Javier “El Zorro” Castro (24-4-19 KOs) in a battle schedule for 12 Rounds.
The co feature will pit unbeaten former Amateur World Champion Sullivan Barrera (7-0-5 KO’s) of Guantanamo, Cuba who will face Frank Paines (11-1-10 KOs) of St. Marteen via Colombia in a fight schedule for 10 Rounds with the vacant WBO Latino and WBA FEDELATIN light heavyweight titles.
Also slated to appear on the card are 18 year old super bantamweight prospect Hairon “El Maja” Socarra of Habana, Cuba Vs. Anthony Fraguada 4 Rounds , WBO Female World Champion Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton of Dale City, CA Vs. Angel Gladney 8 Rounds Featherweights, Felix Mercedes of Puerto Rico Vs. Miguel Angel Munguia 6 Rounds Jr. Welters, Yoandry Salinas of Cuba Vs. Robert Daluz 6 Rounds Jr. Featherweights, Umberto Savigne of Cuba Vs. Frankie Santos 6 Rounds super middleweights and Liosvy Mayedo of Cuba Vs. Adam Shwartz. Opponents are still being sought for undefeated Cuban prospects Angelo Santana and Inocente Fiz.
