Humberto Soto Wins Again

WBC lightweight world champion Humberto Soto, 56-7-2, 32 KO’s won a ten round technical decision over #11 rated challenger Motoki Sasaki, 36-9, 23 KO’s on Saturday night at the Parque Andres Quintana Roo in Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Soto dropped Sasaki in round five and was far ahead of the scorecard when he slipped on a wet ring floor and suffered a leg injury. Scores were 100-88,  and 99-89 (twice). Soto made the fourth defense of his lightweight title.
