British Boxing News: Prizefighter Returns September 15th

The lineup for “Prizefighter Light Middleweights II” on September 15 at York Hall, London has been announced. The biggest name on the list is former world title challenger Mehrdud Takaloo in his first fight in nearly four years. Takaloo, 35, who recently applied for a license from the BBBC, must pass a warm-up test before the night. Other names in the eight man, one-night tourney include JJ Bird, Peter Vaughan, Wayne Goddard, Kris Agyei-Du, Daniel Herdman and Steve Harkin. Promoter Matchroom Sport hopes to name the final participant early next week.
