Yahoo Sports is reporting that Nevin Shapiro who was convicted and currently serving a 20 year prison sentence for his mastermind Ponzi Scheme in the amount of 930 million dollars has blown the whistle on many of the coaches at the University of Miami where he was a top booster.

Shapiro, described in detail how he provided millions of dollars worth of illegal benefits to at least 72 athletes between 2002 and 2010. Benefits such as cash, prostitutes, entertainment, trips, jewelry, bounties for on-field play and, on one occasion, even an abortion.

Yahoo! Sports said it was able to corroborate multiple parts of Shapiro’s claims after “auditing about 20,000 pages of financial and business records from his bankruptcy case, more than 5,000 pages of cellphone records, multiple interview summaries tied to his federal Ponzi case, and more than 1,000 photos.”
