Salvatore Licitra DEAD: Italian Tenor Passes Away at 43 – NEW DETAILS

An Italian tenor known as the “New Pavarotti” due to his voice and ability to maintain has died. Salvatore Licitra, 43 years old, died after spending nine days in a coma after a motor scooter accident in Sicily.

His death was announced by Catania’s Garibaldi Hospital, stating that Licitra never regained consciousness after suffering severe injuries to his head and chest on August 27th when he had the accident. Licitra crashed his scooter into a wall, after having a medical problem while he was driving. He will be greatly missed.
