A man toting a rifle walked into an IHOP in Carson City Nevada, and opened fire, killing two National Guard Members and another person, finally killing himself. He walked into the eatery in the breakfast hour.
All together, there were six wounded in the attack. The suspect did not have anyone with him, acting alone, and would later die at the hospital in Reno, according to report. It is unknown if the attack was aimed at National Guards or not, but the authorities are exploring that as a motive.
At 9 AM, the witnesses reported that the gunman drove up in a minivan and shot a man on a motorcycle, and then proceeded to walk into the IHOP and opened fire. He then exited and shot at a BBQ restaurant across the street, then an H&R Block, and finally a casino, also across the street.
