Tyson Fury – Nicolai Firtha: BOXING RESULTS

Tyson Fury, 16-0, 11 KO’s, overcame some rocky moments to stop Nicolai Firtha, 20-9-1, 8 KO’s, in the fifth round, although the stoppage was very controversial. Initially, Fury controlled the fight, battering Firtha in the first round and continuing the assault in round two, but in the third, he got badly hurt by a Firtha overhand right.

Although not hurt, the referee saw enough output from Fury to call the fight and end the night for Firtha. It wasn’t a great win and Fury still remains a question mark in the heavyweight division.
