Jorge Arce – Simphiwi Nongqayi II WAR OF WORDS

Things heated up at the final press conference for Saturday’s grudge rematch between WBO super featherweight champion Jorge “Travieso” Arce and arch rival Simphiwi Nongqayi.

Jorge Arce: “It was a bad night for me and my team in Cancun, left shin splints, slow and weak, the day before I had a bad flu and wasn’t recovered and Simphiwi boxed me well, but on the 24th in Mexicali things will be different. I’m going to knock him out and settle accounts with the South African.”

Simphiwi Nongqayi: “I want to thank Jorge Arce for the opportunity to fight here and prove again what I did. I can say I beat you last time and this time will be the same. Maybe you want to fight me because Topo Rosas told you something about me, but right now I come at full strength, so look at me right now Jorge, on Saturday I’m going to knock you out. I started with your brother Francisco, I followed with you, and on Saturday I’m going to end it. I am very happy to be here in Mexico and I will regain my title.”

They collide on Saturday at the Foro Promocasa in Mexicali.
