Down Syndrome Man BEATEN BY POLICE – SHOCKING STORY

A 22 year old man with Down syndrome was beat outside of his home in Miami when the local police noticed a bulge in his pants and attempted to investigate. The officers tried to handcuff Gilberto Powell, which prompted a violent confrontation.

The bulge was determined to be a colostomy bag. A lawsuit against the police is expected and it is another example of the police work that leaves a bad taste in the mouths of the public. It’s a bad day when a slow person gets beaten for having a colostomy bag by the police.
