Welterweight Kell Brook faces Rafal Jackiewicz in a WBA eliminator at the Ponds Forge International Arena in Sheffield, England, tomorrow night and says he’s ready to fight for a world title. “It’s time to go now,” said Brook at today’s weigh-in. “I’ve got to get into these big fights – I’m 25 and I’m ready for it. There’s room for a new boxing star in Britain at the moment and I’m going to be clicking into that gap of elite fighters.” Brook was greeted with a huge cheer at today’s public weigh-in at The Winter Gardens in Sheffield, where he tipped the scales at 146.25, while Jackiewicz registered at 146.75.
