Jorge Arce – Lorenzo Parra SHOCKING FIGHT RESULT

WBO bantamweight champion Jorge “Travieso” Arce (60-6-2, 46 KOs) avenged a 2009 draw with former world champion Lorenzo “Lencho” Parra (31-4-1, 18 KOs) with a fifth round KO in a non-title grudge match on Saturday night at the Palenque del Fex in Mexicali, BC, Mexico. Arce’s body attack did its job as he dropped Parra once in round three, twice in round four and sent him to a knee in round five where Parra stayed for the full count. Time was 1:02.

Welterweight Jorge “Maromerito” Páez Jr. (31-4-1, 19 KOs), returning for his first bout since defeating “Son of the Legend” Omar Chavez, battered Octavio “Tayo” Castro (14-8-1, 9 KOs) until he got a referee’s stoppage at 2:38 of round three.
