Carlos Takam Vs Frans Botha: SHOCKING FIGHT RESULT

Heavyweight Carlos Takam (25-1, 20 KOs) scored an eleventh round TKO over 43-year-old former heavyweight titleholder Francois “The White Buffalo” Botha (48-7-3, 29 KOs) on Saturday night at the Gymnase Richepin in Noisy-le-Grand (East Paris), France. Takam, who represented Cameroon at the 2004 Olympics, retained his WBO Africa belt and picked up the WBF International belt.

The co-feature was a clash for the vacant WBC Mediterranean supper lightweight belt with Ali “Hurricane” Oubaali (26-3, 19 KOs) taking a twelve round unanimous decision over Bastient Laforge (14-4-1, 3 KOs). Scores were 117-111, 117-112 and 116-112.
