Breaking Boxing News: Craig McEwan DEFEATS Paul Morby in Scotland

Middleweight Craig McEwan (20-2, 10 KOs) won an eight round 80-72 points decision over Paul Morby (6-13-1, 0 KOs) on Saturday night at Meadowbank Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was the first time McEwan has fought in his native Scotland in his pro career. “I have fought in Las Vegas and have topped the bill on big shows in America but there’s nothing like fighting in front of your own people,” said McEwan, who is promoted by Golden Boy and trains at Freddie Roach’s Wildcard Gym in Hollywood. “The atmosphere tonight was fantastic and I hope, in future, to fight for a title here.”

The event was promoted by former world title holder Alex Arthur (31-3, 21 KOs), who outpointed Michael Frontin (3-13-1, 0 KOs) over eight in a jr welterweight bout on the show.
