Miguel Cotto Vs Floyd Mayweather JR: FIGHTING WORDS – BOXING NEWS

This Saturday is right around the corner and Las Vegas will heat up with the biggest fight of the year as WBA Light Middleweight Champion, Miguel Cotto, 37-2, 30 KO’s, takes on the undefeated pound for pound best in the game, Floyd Mayweather, JR., 42-0, 26 KO’s.

The two met in Vegas today and mutual respect was shown with their comments and behavior. Floyd noted that “Miguel is a true warrior a tough champion and will go down as one of the best,” but promised victory Saturday night. He is the favorite to win, but Cotto appears mentally better then he has been in years. He will be in there to win.

Cotto stated that “I trust everyone on my team and I trust myself even more to get the victory.” The demeanor of Cotto is very promising. Floyd will have an ambitious, talented and powerful opponent coming after him.

Along with the main event, Sugar Shane Mosley attempts to fend off the aggressive Saul Alvarez in a crossroads bout. It should be a fun night of boxing.
