Johnny Tapia – CAUSE OF DEATH – BOXING NEWS

Johnny Tapia, at the age of 45, was found dead. He compiled a record of 59-5-2, 30 KO’s, and became a five time world champion. He went to war with Danny Romero, Paulie Ayala, Marco Antonio Barrera and many more. He brought excitement to the ring with his energy and charisma and now the boxing world has lost him.

Tapia has had a long battle with drug and alcohol addiction and the cause of death has yet to be announced, but the speculation is that his old demons may have come back to haunt him considering his passing at such a young age.
