Let me tell you something brother. Times have changed. The WWE has just suspended Chris Jericho for 30 days for denigrating the Brazilian flag. Jericho has apologized for his antics, but this is pro wrestling man!

Do you remember when Sgt. Slaughter burned the flag of Hulkamania? You didn’t see the Hulkster run wild on him over that? He settled inside the ring brother. The Brazilian government went mad when they saw Jericho kick the flag and threatened to arrest him. Dudes, you’re luck that the Big Boss Man isn’t still alive brother. He’d come down there and give you all some hard times! You’ll be serving hard times. The Big Boss Man will make you walk the line…you’d better watch you step, or you’ll be serving hard times!

I called Vince and told him that this is wrestling and to stick with Jericho, but he is only interested in the green. In my day, we had wrestlers like Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, and the Wild Samoans…but in this day of political correctness, you can’t do anything to get any heat man. In 1988, I wrestled the Patriot and I ripped off his mask and stomped on it and then tore up the American flag and the crowd went crazy. Now, they would suspend me. I plan to have drinks with Jericho tonight and tell him the way it is man. He has to protect his job, but this is nonsense.
