Egar Santana – Dmitry Salita SHOCKER – Boxing UPDATE

On Saturday October 20th, one of the biggest nights in New York Boxing will take place as the brand new, state of the art Barclays Center will play host to four world championship fights. One of the proposed undercard bout was to have it former world title challenger Dmitry Salita (34-1-1, 18 KO’s) of Brooklyn and Edgar Santana (26-4, 17 KO’s) of Harlem, but after the fight was allegedly agreed upon, Salita apparently pulled out of the bout and Santana believes that Salita never had any intention of fighting him. “We found out that Salita did not want the fight. Regardless of what he says, he is scared to fight me. I read on the internet he said he did not want to fight me because I am coming off a loss. I fought that fight with a broken hand, but let’s face the facts, I have knocked out three guys that he not only went the distance with but he had trouble with.”
