Wednesday night’s scheduled world title fight between WBO super flyweight champion Omar Narvaez (36-1, 19 KOs) and Johnny Garcia (16-3-1, 8 KOs) in Buenas Aires, Argentina has been postponed due to the death of Narvaez’ father after a long illness. Upon receiving the news, the two-division champion immediately traveled to his native city of Trelew. The Narvaez-Garcia fight at the famed Estadio Luna Park in Buenos Aires will be rescheduled sometime within one month, possibly as soon as Saturday night.
