Luis Rios SHOCKS Felipe Salguero – Boxing Results

In an IBF jr flyweight eliminator, Luis ‘Pan Blanco’ Rios (18-1-1, 12 KOs) scored an eleventh round TKO over Felipe Salguero (16-4-1, 11 KO) on Thursday night at the Roberto Duran Arena in Panama City. Rios recovered from a fifth round knockdown to eventually get the referee’s stoppage after rattling Salguero with an uppercut the eleventh. Time was 1:26. Rios is now the mandatory challenger for IBF champion John Reil Casimero.

In the co-feature, featherweight Jorge ‘El Bufalo “Sanchez (8-0, 6 KOs) got a fourth round TKO over Franklin Mazanilla (9-2-0, 8 KOs).
