RSR Boxing Results: Librado Andrade Stops Eric Lucas

Librado Andrade, 29-3, 22 KO’s, proved too strong for former champ, Eric Lucas, 39-8-3, 15 KO’s, coming forward and eventually getting the TKO when cuts developed over both eyes, forcing the end at the end of the 8th round. Lucas had many moments, landing nearly at will on Andrade, but he couldn’t dent him. Andrade’s durability was on full display as he took some huge punches and proceeded to walk forward. Andrade’s punches proved much more effective, turning the face of Lucas into a red and bloody mess. It was a good fight between two courageous super middleweights.
