The Treasures of Bruce Lee: The Official Story of the Legendary Martial Artist – BOOK REVIEW
I have very few books that I consider “treasures,” going well beyond the value of any ordinary book. They represent more, mean more, and deliver something special. The latest treasure is “The Treasures of Bruce Lee: The Official Story of the Legendary Martial Artist” by Paul Bowman, foreword by Shannon Lee, daughter of Bruce Lee.
This book is incredibly unique and it is just loaded with cool stuff. I don’t often use the term “cool stuff” when I’m doing a review, but as I went through the book, it was the term that kept repeating in my mind. You get posters, photos, stickers and much more. If you are fan of Bruce Lee, you need this book.
After I went through all of the different things that this book has, I began to read through it and it really brings the story of Lee to life, discussing the beginning of his career in film, his martial arts and his untimely death, leading to a legacy that will live on forever.
The Treasures of Bruce Lee: The Official Story of the Legendary Martial Artist is more of an adventure than a book. I typically read a book and then toss it into my enormous pile of books, but this one remains on my coffee table and I still, after a week of having it, am thumbing through it and enjoying the many cool things that it offers. Do not call yourself a Bruce Lee fan if you do not have this book. I give it my highest recommendation.
