Jodi Arias Case UPDATE: Travis Alexander MURDER & History of Abusing Women, Nancy Grace & More – BREAKING NEWS

The trial of Jodi Arias has become another one of those cases that have captured the imagination of the public. Last night, Nancy Grace, began beating the drum to lock up Arias and throw away the key, much like she did during the Casey Anthony “Tot Mom” Trial.

Arias stands accused of murdering her boyfriend, Travis Alexander, brutally. With the amount of stab wounds, it was pretty obvious that there was plenty of emotion involved from whoever was holding the knife. This is why it was easy to point at the girlfriend.

Making it easier was the fact that a bloody handprint was found on the wall and it was the print of Arias. She would later be confused as to how it got there and insisted that she was not there the night of the murder. That would change shortly after.

In another interview, she would tell this story about a man and a woman, both in ski masks, breaking into the house and terrorizing both her and Travis. She couldn’t decide if the girl had a gun or a knife and the inconsistencies were everywhere. She cried when she couldn’t think and insisted that she was afraid for the safety of her family members, which is why she had to keep relatively silent about the “real killers” that were there. The detective allowed her to talk and she did, but none of it came off as believable. It was too elaborate and too all over the place.

The murder took place in 2008 and was a bloodbath. It was noted that Jodi was “obsessed” with Travis and that she became the top suspect to many that were interviewed.

As with most cases, the victim is now on trial. Travis is being portrayed as an abusive monster, a contention that the sister of Jodi, Angela, has made. She dismissed the idea of intruders and noted that it was self defense and that her older sister was fighting off an abuser of women.

There have been reports of emails that prove that Alexander had a mean streak and abused women, but they haven’t really seen the light of day yet and it’s yet to be seen if the punishment fit the crime here. Travis was brutally murdered and when you add the lies by Arias prior to admitting the murder, you have to question her abuse stories. It almost appears that she is grasping at straws.
