Guillermo Rigondeaux DOMINATES Nonito Donaire: BOXING NEWS & RESULTS

Guillermo Rigondeaux, 12-0, 8 KO’s, used superior skill and timing to dominate Nonito Donaire, 31-2, 20 KO’s, en route to a unanimous decision by scores of 114-113, 115-112 and 116-111.

In the opening bell, Rigondeaux landed a straight left hand that rocked Donaire and it put him on the defense. Donaire was unwilling to open up and allowed Rigondeaux to work and control the pace. Outside of a knockdown that Donaire scored from a right hand, he was very quiet in the fight.
