Erislandy Lara SURVIVES Alfredo Angulo: BOXING KNOCKOUT NEWS

Erislandy Lara, 18-1-2, 12 KO’s, got dropped hard twice from left hooks by Alfredo Angulo, 22-3, 18 KO’s, but was able to rebound and survive a very tough fight. Lara began the fight using his speed and movement along with a straight left to batter Angulo. Angulo proved dangerous throughout and used some effective body shots to wear down Lara, but in the end, it was a straight left that may have shattered the eye socket of Angulo, prompting him to quit the fight.

Lara survived another tough one and is still a force in the division.
