Saints Row IV and Killer Is Dead at MCM Scotland Comic Con – VIDEO GAME NEWS

Two of the hottest new videogames are gunning for glory in Glasgow this Saturday, with publisher Deep Silver giving MCM Scotland Comic Con visitors the chance to get hands-on with über cool actioner Killer Is Dead and sandbox funfest Saints Row IV.

Designed by the legendary Suda 51 (Killer7, No More Heroes, Lollipop Chainsaw), the super stylish Killer Is Dead sees player take control of near-future executioner Mondo Zappa, who wields a Japanese sword in his right hand and brandishes interchangeable weapons in his left artificial arm. Mondo’s ultimate goal: to execute heinous criminals scattered around the world and beyond. As you might expect, the action-packed Killer Is Dead also sports Suda 51’s trademark aesthetics and quirky charm.

Meanwhile, Saints Row IV is the biggest, baddest and most bonkers entry in the hit franchise yet. The head honcho of the Third Street Saints has made it to the top by being elected President of the United States …just in time to face a full-on alien invasion! The aliens transport the Saints to a bizarro-Steelport simulation, giving players the chance to wield gargantuan superpowers and fight to free humanity from alien granddaddy Zinyak’s mental grasp. Escape the simulation that’s trapped the Saints crew, or die trying.

To try out Saints Row IV and Killer Is Dead, make sure you drop by Deep Silver’s stand at MCM Scotland Comic Con, coming to Glasgow SECC on Saturday 7 September. Other videogame content at the show includes a League of Legends free play area, Dance Dance Revolution and a retro gaming zone.

Advance tickets for MCM Scotland Comic Con have now sold out, but standard tickets can be purchased on the door, subject to availability.
